19th International Conference on Computational Statistics, Paris, France
Statistical computing links statistical theory and applied statistics. As in previous conferences in the same series, the scientific programme will cover all aspects underlying these links, from the development and implementation of new statistical ideas to user experiences and software evaluation. The programme will appeal to those working in statistics and using computers, whether in universities, industrial companies, government agencies, research institutes, as well as software developers.
Session topics during the event are slated to include:
- algorithm for robust statistics and robustness,
- categorical data analysis,
- computational Bayesian methods,
- multivariate data analysis,
- time series analysis and signal processing,
- biostatistics and bio-computing,
- clustering and classification,
- functional data analysis,
- nonparametric statistics and smoothing,
- optimisation heuristics in statistical modelling,
- spatial statistics,
- machine learning.
The conference, sponsored by the European Regional Section of the International Association for Statistical Computing, is organised by the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), with the support of the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA).For further information, please visit:
