Fifth Round Table Workshop on GaN Component Technologies, Noordwijk, the Netherlands
Wide band gap semiconductors such as gallium nitride have emerged as one of the most promising materials for future electronic components. They offer tremendous advantages in terms of power capability (DC and microwave), radiation insensitivity, high temperature and high frequency operation, optical properties and even low noise capability. These properties make wide band gap components strategically important for the development of next generation space systems.
An important objective of the event is to facilitate information exchange between aerospace, defence, space agency and EU-funded research programmes in order to prevent duplication and ensure the rapid transfer of technology to the manufacturing sector. An open discussion session is planned in which attendee viewpoints will be gathered in order to identify key problem areas and to help coordinate and plan future research and development work programmes.For further information, please visit:
