'Challenges of multilingualism in Europe - core findings of the Languages in a Network of European Excellence', Brussels, Belgium
Linee is an EU-funded project that seeks to raise the visibility of linguistic diversity in Europe as a key issue in European integration. The network is made up of nine scientific European universities, involving around 80 researchers.
Topics will include policy-relevant research results regarding multilingualism in schools, multilingualism as an asset but also a challenge, national languages and multilingualism and the role of English in Europe.
During the event, universities will present their policy-relevant research results to interested stakeholders in Brussels. Members of the European Parliament and the European Commission, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organisations, and researchers are expected to attend.For further information, please visit:
