In the last couple of decade, contemporary ergonomics/human factors (EHF) has evolved into an innovative, integrating discipline using a systems approach. It seeks to not only solve quality of life problems for individuals, but also improve the economic status of enterprises and/or industrial systems and enhance the socio-economic efficiency of compensating bodies.
A central theme of the conference will be ageing. This topic will be examined in terms of scientific and practical aspects in different applications: risks in man-machine-environment interfaces (such as transport, maintenance, emergencies), concerns in securing jobs and employment, paying attention to re-employment and rehabilitation, and new work-forms and challenges where implementation risks for elderly are not yet known.For further information, please visit:
