The Third International Workshop on Model-Based Architecting and Construction of Embedded Systems will take place in Oslo, Norway on 4 October 2010.

Model-based engineering (MBE) techniques allow for the capture (of?) dedicated architectural and non-functional information in precise domain-specific models. They also support a layered construction of various systems.

The objective of this full-day workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in model-based engineering to explore the frontiers of architecting and construction of embedded systems. Topics of discussion will include architecture description languages, domain specific design and implementation languages, languages for capturing non-functional constraints, and component languages and system description languages.
