The Eighth Conference of Finnish-Russian University Cooperation in Telecommunications (FRUCT) Programme will be held in Lappeenranta, Finland from 9 to 12 November 2010.
A distinctive feature of modern information technology and telecommunications industries is a dramatic shortening of the period when technology remains commercially viable.
This is partly because competition between key market players push manufacturers to accelerate innovation. It is also due the increased speed of technological progress caused by the growing expansion of intellectual resource invested in R&D and design activities.
