An event entitled 'Innovative companies - going for broke?' will take place on 17 November 2010 in Brussels, Belgium.

A vital part of the European Commission's new Innovation Union strategy is to support new ways of helping small, innovative companies find the financing they need to get moving commercially. This affects university spin-outs, high-tech start-ups and many other kinds of entrepreneurial organisations that may find raising capital a challenge.

This meeting will be an open discussion of these and other ideas already being discussed at the Community level and to look at where EU policy may move next. For further information, please visit: http://www.sciencebusiness.net/events/innovativecompanies_goingforbroke/(opens in new window)
