'The synergies between environmental sciences and astroparticle physics', Paris, France
The goal of this workshop is to bring together the scientific community and funding stakeholders to discuss how synergies between environmental sciences and astroparticle physics can be promoted and encouraged.
The event will also examine the deployment of research infrastructures in remote or hostile environments, such as polar regions, caves, deep seas, deserts and space, and how these infrastructures can lead to new possibilities for environmental sciences and other associated sciences.
The event is organised by Astroparticle Eranet (Aspera), which is a network of European national government agencies aimed at coordinating national research efforts in astroparticle physics (APP). Aspera is supported by the European Commission through the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Its members are 22 national funding agencies in Europe providing funding in astroparticle physics research. For further information, please visit: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?ovw=True&confId=109104(opens in new window)
