Sixth International Conference on High Performance and Embedded Architectures, Heraklion, Greece
Due to technology limitations, the domain of high-performance processors is experiencing a radical shift towards parallelism through on-chip multi-cores and chip customisation leading to heterogeneous multi-core systems. The commodity, supercomputing and embedded markets are increasingly sharing the same challenges, leading to convergence of the three.
The conference is structured to be a forum for computer architects and compiler builders working in the field of high performance computer architecture and compilation for embedded systems. General purpose research which is becoming increasingly relevant to the embedded domain will be an additional focal point. The event also aims to disseminate advanced scientific knowledge and promote international contacts between academia and industry.
The conference is organised by the Seventh Framework Programme-funded 'High performance and embedded architecture and compilation' (Hipeac) project. For further information, please visit: http://www.pdp2011.org/(opens in new window)
