Fourth European Lisp Symposium, Hamburg, Germany
Lisp is a family of computer programming languages with a long history and a distinctive, fully parenthesized syntax. Originally specified in 1958, it is the second-oldest, high-level programming language in widespread use today. The name derives from the phrase 'list processing'.
The purpose of the European Lisp Symposium is to provide a forum for the discussion and dissemination of all aspects of design, implementation and application of any of the Lisp dialects, including Common Lisp, Scheme, Emacs Lisp, AutoLisp, ISLISP, Dylan, Clojure, ACL2, ECMAScript, Racket, etc. Topics will include:
- parallel and distributed computing;
- code generation for multi-core architectures;
- large and ultra-large systems;
- optimisation techniques;
- embedded applications;
- language design, implementation, integration, inter-operation and deployment;
- various aspects of development methodologies;
- educational approaches and perspectives; and
- experience reports and case studies.For further information, please visit: http://www.european-lisp-symposium.org/(opens in new window)
