South Korea
The 'EUREKA days' conference will be held from 16 to 17 March 2011 in Seoul, South Korea.

Launched in 1985, EUREKA is the European platform for research and development funding. As an intergovernmental network, it supports market-oriented research and development and innovation projects by industry, research centres and universities across all technological sectors. EUREKA is composed of 39 members, including the European Community. With its flexible and decentralised network, the network offers project partners access to skills and expertise across Europe and national public and private funding schemes.

The event will include a plenary session, keynote speeches and matchmaking seminars, with the participation of relevant EUREKA groupings in such areas as electronics and information technology, clean technology and energy, industrial manufacturing and transport, bio-medical and agrofood, telecommunications, and material and nanotechnology.

Among the goals of the event are to promote EUREKA to Korean organisations and to create an environment where European and Korean research-focused organisations can meet and discuss the potential for their future collaboration in the launching of EUREKA-labelled projects. For further information, please visit: http://www.innovact.com/en/rubrique1.html(opens in new window)
