The final seminar of the 'Platform for integration of trans-regional energy research and development activities' (Piter) project will be held on 14 December 2010 in Brussels, Belgium.
The project has aimed to create a trans-national platform to facilitate the exchanges in the areas of research, technological development and transfers, joint political and economical actions for the development and diffusion of renewable energy. It has also contributed to the implementation of the European directives concerning better and more efficient use of alternative sources of energy and the reduction of CO2 emissions at the local and national levels.
Piter brought together two regions (Rhône-Alpes Region (France) and Piedmont Region (Italy)), two technology clusters (Tenerrdis (France) and Environment Park (Italy)) and a project management consultancy.
