Fourth International Workshop on Process-oriented Information Systems in Healthcare, Clermont-Ferrand, France
Healthcare organisations and providers are facing the challenge of delivering high quality services to their patients at affordable costs. This challenge is magnified by such trends as the high degree of specialisation of medical disciplines, prolonged medical care for the aging population, increased costs for dealing with chronic diseases, and the need for personalised healthcare.
Business process management (BPM) technology provides a key to implement these changes. Though patient-centred process support becomes increasingly crucial in healthcare, BPM technology has not yet been broadly used in healthcare environments.
This event will look at the potential and the limitations of information technology support for healthcare processes. It will also be a forum for debate and discussion on the challenges, paradigms and tools for optimised process support in healthcare. For further information, please visit: http://www.uni-ulm.de/in/prohealth-11.html(opens in new window)
