'Visualisation of cell therapy meets clinical application', Vienna, Austria
Within the European community of cell imaging, novel imaging tools are crucial to the understanding of therapeutic effects to patients. The event will centre on three examples of the visualisation:
- 'Visualising transplanted neural stem cells and tissue regeneration by magnetic resonance imaging';
- 'Imaging dendritic cell vaccinations in melanoma patients'
- 'Monitoring of super paramagnetic iron oxide-labelled pancreatic islets in human liver by magnetic resonance imaging'.
The event is sponsored by the 'European Network for Cell Imaging and Tracking Expertise' (Encite) project. Encite consists of 29 project partners from 10 countries with leading expertise in the field of cell imaging. The four year project started in June 2008 and is supported by the European Commission.For further information, please click: here(opens in new window)
