The International symposium on ambient intelligence will be held from 6 to 8 April 2011 in Salamanca, Spain.
Ambient intelligence is an area where computers are used as proactive tools to assist people with their day-to-day activities. The topic started as a future trend in consumer electronics, telecommunications and computing that was originally developed in the late 1990s.
An underlying goal of ambient intelligence is the inclusion of computational power and communication technologies in everyday objects in ways that their presence is as invisible as possible.
