Network steganography is which covers the hiding of information on modern networks or disguising data in normal data transmissions so it cannot be detected by third parties.
Steganographic techniques have arisen and evolved with the development of network protocols and mechanisms. The topic has gained in popularity due to the wide spread of information networks, such as multimedia services in networks and social networks.
The theme of this year's edition is network forensics. Research themes to be covered will include:
- steganography and steganalysis (steganology);
- covert/subliminal channels;
- novel applications of information hiding in networks;
- political and business issues related to network steganography;
- information hiding in multimedia services;
- digital forensics;
- network communication modelling from the viewpoint of steganography and steganalysis;
