Conference on 'Intangible capital and innovation: drivers of EU growth', Brussels, Belgium
The importance of human capital, research and development, patents, software and organisational structures in generating innovation and economic growth in the EU is widely recognised. On the other hand, how these intangibles contribute to economic growth is yet to be determined.
The aim of this research project is to provide new data on intangibles and new estimates on the capacity of intangible capital to generate growth.
This event will look at improving measurement of capital in intellectual assets and will examine the potential growth associated with intangible capital accumulation in manufacturing, service industries and other economic sectors
The first day of the two-day conference will be a scientific seminar with presentation and discussion of the findings. The second day will feature a policy seminar intended for drawing and debating policy conclusions. For further information, please visit: http://www.innodrive.org(opens in new window)
