The role of innovation

A conference on the role of innovation will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, on 6-7 December 1994. It is organized by the Agencia de Inovacao in Portugal.

The conference is intended to contribute to the understanding and promotion of innovation. Topics to be dealt with include:

- Intellectual property, strategic alliances and licensing;
- Financing of innovation (seed and risk capital for innovative projects);
- The role of consultants;
- Policies to promote innovation;
- Exploitation of research carried out at universities.
