Seventh Conference of the European Social Simulation Association, Montpellier, France
Social simulation is a research field that applies computational methods to study issues in such areas as sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, geography, archaeology and linguistics. The field aims to bridge the gap between the descriptive and formal approaches.
The event will focus on a wide range of actual research from very abstract artificial societies to empirical models, from methodological advances to simulation results and their comparison with evidence, from theoretical developments on decisions, networks, collective action, and policies to the lessons of simulations for decisionmakers. For further information, please visit: http://www.essa2011.org/(opens in new window)
