'Structural information and communication complexity', Gdansk, Poland
The event will look at the interplay and trade-offs between the efficiency of algorithms and systems and the availability of information. This basic issue is common to many fields of multiparty systems. Special emphasis will be given to innovative approaches and fundamental understanding, in addition to efforts to optimise current designs.
Topic areas that will be covered include:
- distributed computing;
- communication networks;
- game theory, parallel computing;
- social networks;
- mobile computing (including autonomous robots);
- peer to peer systems;
- communication complexity;
- fault tolerant graph theories;
- randomised/probabilistic issues in networks.
This will be the eighteenth edition of the conference. In previous years it was held in Turkey, Switzerland, Italy and France, among other countries.For further information, please visit: http://www.sirocco2011.org/(opens in new window)
