'FP7 environmental research brokerage - event focus on Russia', Brussels, Belgium
The main aim of the conference is to help foster competitive research project proposals in the field of Environment (including climate change) for the upcoming calls of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) that will be published at the end of July 2011.
The event will focus on the five challenges which are forming the key research priorities for the Environment 2012 Work Programme:
- coping with climate change;
- sustainable use and management of land and seas;
- improving resource efficiency;
- protecting citizens from environmental hazards;
- mobilising environmental knowledge for policy, industry and society.
The conference is co-sponsored by the 'European Union and Russia link for science and technology co-operation in the area of the environment' project (E-Ural).
