BRITE/EURAM projects at VALUE technology transfer day on biomedical technologies

A technology transfer day on biomedical technologies, organized by the French VALUE Relay Centre (AIRE/BIO CRITT), will take place in Paris on 13 December 1994.
Five BRITE/EURAM projects will be presented:
- Application of ceramics injection moulding technology to the production of medical devices and implants;
- The development of improved biocompatible materials for urological and other medical devices;
- Surface modification of biomedical devices for improved biocompatibility;
- Coating of bio-engineering materials with corrosion and wear-resistant diamond-like carbon films;
- A patent to improve artificial surfaces in polymeric vascular grafts and sensors.
