Seventh International Conference Mechatronic Systems and Materials, Kaunas, Lithuania
Mechatronics is the combination of various engineering fields, such as mechanical, electronic, computer, control, and systems design in order to create and manufacture products. At a basic level, mechatronics is a multidisciplinary engineering system, which rejects splitting engineering into separate disciplines. Originally, mechatronics only included the combination of mechanics and electronics. However, as technical systems has become more and more complex the notion has been widened to include more technical areas.
Through collaboration, the mechatronic modules perform the production goals and inherit flexible and agile manufacturing properties in the production scheme. Modern production equipment consists of mechatronic modules that are integrated according to a control architecture.
The event will be an opportunity to share information and facilitate co-operation in mechatronics and new materials and to disseminate current research results. For further information, please visit: http://www.ktu.lt/msm/(opens in new window)
