Seventh Conference of the European Social Simulation Association, Montpellier, France
Social simulation is a research field that applies computational methods to study issues in the social sciences. It aims to cross the gap between the descriptive approach used in the social sciences and the formal approach used in the applied sciences.
The event will focus on a wide range of actual research from very abstract artificial societies to empirical models, from methodological advances to simulation results and their comparison with evidence, from theoretical developments on decisions, networks, collective action, and policies to the lessons of simulations for decision-makers.For further information, please visit: http://www.essa2011.org/(opens in new window)
