Ninth European Workshop on Multi-agent Systems, Maastricht, the Netherlands
In the last two decades, there has been a significant increase of interest in multi-agent-based computing. This type of system can be used to solve problems that are difficult or impossible for an individual agent or a monolithic system to solve. Areas where they have come into use include online trading, disaster response and modelling social structures.
The event will bring together academics and industrialists within Europe and provide a forum at which current research and application issues are presented and discussed. Topics of discussion will include:
- action and planning;
- adaptation and learning;
- agent Architectures;
- agent programming languages;
- agents and complex systems;
- agent based simulation ;
- agent based service oriented computing;
- agent oriented software engineeringFor further information, please visit: http://swarmlab.unimaas.nl/eumas2011/(opens in new window)
