Scientists and members of the medical profession are increasingly busy, and may lack the time or resources to publish their research To alleviate this, some have started to use professional writers in producing papers. Some reports also point an increasing phenomenon of ghostwriting, where a substantial contribution to a manuscript may be made without mentioning the role of the actual author.
