A workshop on the European Green Cars Initiative will be held on 14 July 2011 online and hosted from Rome, Italy.
The EU-funded 'Services for small to medium-sized enterprises in collaborative transport research projects' (Smart) project will sponsor this online event. The event programme will cover multiple sessions, starting with the introduction of the roadmap of this initiative and the International Agency for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles.
Following the overall introduction, experts will give information about upcoming calls. The 'Implementation for road-traffic electrification' (Capire) project will present guidelines for automotive research and development and European road transport policy related to the green cars. There will also be an opportunity for stakeholders to talk about green cars and their own projects.
The Smart consortium comprises a wide range of entities related to surface transport: private technology transfer companies, regional small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) clusters, public innovation agencies and large enterprises.
