Conference on ionic liquids, Belfast, UK
Room-temperature ionic liquids are currently the focus of an intense research effort because of their remarkable potential for applications, such as powerful solvents and electrically conducting fluids. The hybrid organic- ionic nature of these liquids have given rise to a complex phenomenology whose decoding requires the close integration of experimental, theoretical and computational methods.
The conference will examine fundamental experimental and theoretical aspects of the physical chemistry of room-temperature ionic liquids.
Expected attendees will include experts that share a common interest in charged fluids and examine experimental and theoretical developments regarding thermodynamics, interfacial behaviour, microscopic structure and molecular dynamics of ionic liquids. For further information, please visit: http://www.rsc.org/ConferencesAndEvents/RSCConferences/FD154/(opens in new window)
