'EUROVR-EGVE joint virtual reality conference', Nottingham, UK
The event will bring together people from industry, commerce and research, including technology developers, suppliers and all those interested in virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and 3D user interfaces. Attendees will be able to exchange knowledge and share experiences of new results and applications, see live demonstrations of current and emerging technologies and form the basis for future work.
The EU-funded 'Manual work support through system lifecycle by exploiting virtual and augmented reality' (Manuvar) project will host an exhibition stand at the event. The project will share findings and developments to date. In addition, Manuvar will support a special workshop on how technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality can support product lifecycle management in industry.
The event will also feature the 'Wow-factor competition'. This is open to any stakeholder who would like to give a live demonstration of their technology, and feels that others at the event will react by saying 'Wow!
