Cloud and green computing, Sydney, Australia
Cloud computing is positioning itself as a new emerging platform for delivering information infrastructures and resources. Green computing, in general, aims to enable computing and information technology infrastructures to be energy efficient and environmentally-friendly. With the increasing demand on computing and storage systems, information technology infrastructures have become the source of a significant amount of energy consumption, heat dissemination and greenhouse emissions. Green computing emerged to offer solutions for computing and related infrastructures to be energy efficient and environmentally-friendly.
The goal of this conference is to provide an international forum for researchers, industry practitioners and environmental experts to exchange the latest fundamental advances in cloud computing and green computing as well as joint-venture and synergic research and development across both areas. For further information, please visit: http://www.swinflow.org/confs/cgc2011/index.htm(opens in new window)
