Sixth International Symposium on Non-Carbon Dioxide Greenhouse Gases, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Aerosols and tropospheric ozone contribute significantly to climate change. Reducing these emissions is often more cost-effective than reducing CO2 emissions. This leads to an enhanced interest in, and need for significant non-carbon dioxide greenhouse gases (NCGG) emission reductions. Roadmaps addressing NCGG-reduction measures from policy to implementation are still in building blocks in many countries. Integrated studies on the science-policy level will support the development of efficient NCGG policies and measures.
The symposium will address both the role of non-CO2 greenhouse gases and aerosols in human-induced climate forcing, and options for their reduction by industry and society. The event aims to remove barriers between policy, industry and science and fosters the dialogue between scientists, engineers and officials in industry and government working in this field from different perspectives.
The conference will bring together research experts in the field of greenhouse gas emission and others to exchanges ideas and novel methods of research. For further information, please visit: here(opens in new window)
