An event entitled 'Moving EU SMEs to investor readiness' will take place on 4 and 5 October 2011 in Brussels, Belgium
The event is being sponsored by the EU-funded 'Innovative solutions for enabling efficient interactions between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in information and communications technology (ICT) projects and innovation investors' (ICT-VENTUREGATE) project.
The project facilitates the financing of attractive ICT SMEs, which have participated in the Sixth and/or Seventh Framework Programs and are seeking sources of venture capital to commercialise the results of their research and development activities. ICT-VENTUREGATE is also working on the creation of innovative solutions to facilitate interaction between SMEs in FP7 ICT projects and innovation investors, such as business angels and venture capital entities.
The first day of the conference programme will feature thematic discussions and coaching on by preparing and improving presentations. The next day, the same SMEs will present their projects to European private investors for eventual investor interest and take-up.For further information, please visit: here(opens in new window)
