'Geological remote sensing group workshop advances in geological remote sensing', Frascati, Italy
The event is intended for those with an interest in remote sensing, including mapping and monitoring the natural environment, the Earth's resources and geology, and geohazards. It will be a great opportunity to meet stakeholders from industry and academia, listen to presentations on applications and technology, and join in discussions about the future direction of remote sensing.
Topics at the conference are set to include:
- mineral exploration and processing applications of spectral remote sensing;
- mining and minerals extraction;
- oil exploration and planning;
- geological mapping on the Earth and other planets;
- monitoring/modelling geological processes;
- geotechnical and engineering applications of remote sensing;
- monitoring geohazards such as landslides and earthquakes;
- environmental mapping and monitoring applications, such as for mining or oil & gas project approvals.For further information, please visit: http://earth.eo.esa.int/workshops/grsg2011/(opens in new window)
