An event entitled 'European gender summit - quality research and innovation through equality' will take place from 8 to 9 November 2011 in Brussels, Belgium.
European policymakers have singled out knowledge, education and innovation as key drivers for sustainable growth and prosperity, with research and innovation placed at the centre of the EU 2020 Strategy. With these policy initiatives in place, there is a need for providing with an enabling environment that treats stakeholders equally.
