An event entitled 'New opportunities for drug research in Europe' will take place on 12 November 2011 in Krakow, Poland.

Conference attendees will be able to learn how Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) works and hear about participating in the project. Discussions will also centre on the benefits and opportunities offered by IMI to researchers in Poland and elsewhere. There will also be a networking session at the close of the conference.

The Innovative Medicines Initiative is a public-private partnership whose mission is to improve the drug development process by supporting a more efficient discovery and development of better and safer medicines for patients. IMI also supports collaborative research projects and builds networks of industrial and academic experts in Europe.

The half-day event will take place at the same time as the Congress of Polish Biotechnology and the Central European Congress of Life Sciences. For further information, please visit: here(opens in new window)
