'Final briefing on the ERA-PRISM project', Brussels, Belgium
Organised by the EU-funded 'Policies for Research and Innovation in Small Member States to advance the European Research Area' (ERA-PRISM) project, the event will focus on project results and their implications for the role of the smallest members of the EU and EEA in European research and innovation policy.
Attendees will find out about key findings in the areas of appropriate funding frameworks, adequacy of indicators and tailoring innovation procurement as well as broader issues. The programme also includes opportunities for project representatives from Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta and Slovenia and their partners from the UK, France and Sweden, to engage with key experts and decisionmakers to help channel the results into policy design and identify future needs.
The ERA-PRISM project has sought to examine the need to move beyond a one-size-fits-all research and innovation policy mix for EU Member States and to take account of the inherent differences in context, resources and scale affecting small countries. The project brought together small European countries and larger member states with a view to developing collaborative policies and initiatives. For further information, please send an email to: jennifer.harper@gov.mt
