The final conference of the SELUSI project will take place from 6 to 7 October 2011 in Brussels, Belgium.

The event is being organised by the EU-funded 'Social entrepreneurs as "lead users" for service innovation' (SELUSI) project. Attendees will be able to take stock of lessons learned and new insights on social entrepreneurs. The conference programme is specifically designed to speak directly to policymakers at the EU, national and regional levels.

The SELUSI project has sought advance understanding of the market- and organisation-level behaviours of social enterprises across Europe. It has also explored what kinds of specific knowledge social entrepreneurs can contribute to processes of service innovation led by mainstream businesses, and how this expertise can be leveraged to boost the competitiveness of European services. For further information, please send an email to: M.E.Huysentruyt@lse.ac.uk
