'Global Europe conference', Brussels, Belgium
The event is being co-organised by three EU-funded projects: 'EU as global actor in peace and security issues' (EU-GRASP), 'The EU and sub-regional multilateralism in Europe's sea basins' (EU4SEAS), and 'Multilateralism and the EU in the contemporary global order' (MERCURY).
Involving researchers from the three projects, the conference will present the main results of the projects' work. External scholars will be on hand to provide 'peer review feedback'. Policymakers from EU and international institutions will also contribute their views on the policy relevance and 'usability' of project results. Topics on the agenda include:
- 'Understanding multilateralism - the evolving research agenda';
- 'The Union in action: the EU and the practice of multilateralism';
- 'The EU as a global actor: a view from outside';
- 'Looking to the future: policy options for the EU'.For registration, please send an email to: angela.liberatore@ec.europa.eu
