'Sustainable consumption-towards action and impact', Hamburg, Germany
A phenomenon of modern society is the increase of private consumption. Private consumption is a social practice and economic driving force, yet at the same time, its consequences are in conflict with important social and environmental sustainability goals. Finding a path towards sustainable consumption has become an emerging issue. The focus of the conference will be on consumer behaviour, its social and cultural roots, and its interdependencies with institutional, economic, physical and political frameworks.
The event is intended to be a forum for stakeholders from different disciplines to present and discuss new research findings on sustainable consumption. For further information, please visit here(opens in new window)
