An event entitled 'Beyond AI: interdisciplinary aspects of artificial intelligence' will take place from 8 to 9 December 2011 in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a field which studies systems that perceive their environments and formulate actions based on observations. AI research is highly technical and specialised, resulting in subfields that sometimes work in isolation from one another.

The conference programme is designed to be a forum where professionals from various science disciplines (such as engineering, natural sciences and humanities) will offer their own views of the theory, philosophy and practice of the broad field of artificial intelligence. For further information, please visit: http://beyondai.zcu.cz/(opens in new window)
