The Ninth International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Conference on Manoeuvring and Control of Marine Craft will take place from 19 to 21 September 201s in Arenzano, Italy.
The event will bring together key academic and industrial practitioners for discussions and demonstrations of recent advances in navigation, guidance and control of marine craft. It will also provide a forum where experienced researchers can engage with each other and with post-doctoral students in order to share experiences, motivate new research agendas, describe scientific and commercial applications, and explore avenues for future research.
The conference will place special emphasis on cooperative systems, focusing the discussion on a number of topics that include navigation, guidance, and control of robotic marine platforms. Specific topics will include:
- guidance and control;
- monitoring and surveillance;
- optimisation and operations planning;
- modelling and identification;
