Conference on multicore software engineering, performance and tools, Prague, Czech Republic
Multicore processors have become a ubiquitous part of nearly every new computer. This fundamental change in design is making a range of benefits, such as higher performance which consumes less energy, widely available.
In order to exploit the full potential of these new processors, everyday applications need to be parallel. Compared to sequential applications, though, the repertoire of tools and methods for cost-effectively developing reliable and robust parallel applications is not what it could be.
The event will bring together researchers and practitioners with diverse backgrounds in order to advance the state of the art in software engineering, performance engineering and tools in all areas of multicore systems. For further information, please visit: http://www.multicore-systems.org/msept(opens in new window)
