'Drug hypersensitivity meeting', Munich, Germany
Drug hypersensitivity results from interactions between a pharmacologic agent and the human immune system. Symptoms range from mild to severe and include skin rash, anaphylaxis, and serum sickness. Signs vary by patient and drug, and a single drug may cause different reactions in different patients. Hypersensitivity must be distinguished from a drug's expected toxic and adverse effects and problems due to drug interactions.
The meeting will examine information on basic, translational and clinical aspects of hypersensitivity. It also will provide its participants the chance to learn about and share major developments and novel ideas, as well as to discuss progress in translational and clinical aspects of this field. For further information, please visit: http://www.eaaci-dhm2012.com/index.php(opens in new window)
