The 'In the long run: a personal strategic development workshop for life science managers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)' will take place on 6 and 7 February 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The EU-funded Promoting participation of high-tech research-intensive SMEs in health' (FIT FOR HEALTH) project has been providing advice and support to SMEs, SME groupings and researchers and assist them in participating in EU-funded research projects in the 'Health' thematic priority of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The project has been focusing on the capacity building and training of SMEs and researchers in their preparation of EU-funded projects. It has also been providing support activities for consortium building and matchmaking for SMEs and researchers preparing EU project proposals.
The event programme includes keynote speeches on some of the difficulties that face executives developing their technology and their organisation over a span of five years or longer. There will also be three personal development modules on the issues that are of most relevance for attendees looking to develop funding opportunities.For further information, please visit: here(opens in new window)
