The 11th International Conference on Modelling, Monitoring and Management of Water Pollution will take place from 10 to 12 July 2012 in New Forest, UK.

Population growth, intensive agricultural development, urbanisation, industrial growth and environment requirements are all increasing the demand for fresh water. Understanding how this expanding demand in the longer-term is vital. The future development of most countries may hinge on how the increased demand for water will be satisfied, along with accompanying economic and environmental costs.

Water demand challenges have also led to an increased importance for water science and management practice. Environmental problems are essentially multidisciplinary and require engineers, scientist and managers to work together on a wide variety of issues.

The conference will be a forum for the exchange of information between the different parties involved in water pollution problems. For further information, please visit: http://www.wessex.ac.uk/12-conferences/water-pollution-2012.html(opens in new window)
