The 'EUROSPHERE final conference' will take place on 22 June 2012 in Brussels, Belgium.

The 'Diversity and the European public sphere - towards a citizen's Europe' (EUROSPHERE) project has studied European integration and current problems associated with European integration policies. Funded by the European Union under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), the project has also sought to create innovative perspectives on the European public spheres and identify the conditions that enable or undermine the articulation of inclusive European public spheres.

The event will bring together European research stakeholders, representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission, those active European networks of civil society and policy-research organisations, media, and project researchers.

The EUROSPHERE consortium comprises 17 European universities and research institutes, with approximately 150 researchers working in the project's different parts and phases. For further information, please visit: http://eurospheres.org/(opens in new window)
