A conference entitled 'Energy transduction and genome function - an evolutionary synthesis' will take place will take place from 12 to 13 November 2012 in London, UK.

Living organisms are self-replicating, self-sustaining dynamic systems. Newly emerging insights into the interdependence of bioenergetics and genome function have far-reaching implications for diverse fields, from the origin of life to genomic complexity, from multicellular differentiation to ageing.

The conference will be an opportunity for attendants and scientist from divers disciplines to share research results with the objective of driving an evolutionary synthesis that is rooted in thermodynamics. For further information, please visit: http://royalsociety.org/events/2012/energy-and-genome/(opens in new window)
