An event entitled 'Methods, evaluation, tools and applications for the creation and consumption of structured data for the e-society' will take place from 10 to 14 September 2012 in Rome, Italy.

The world wide web and related technologies have significantly changed the way people and organisations exchange information and interact. Large amounts of structured data are being published and shared, with a growing number of services and applications being developed to meet demand.

A current popular initiative adopted by a growing number of governments, city municipalities and other stakeholders encourages the publishing of structured data on the internet. Managing such data in order to make sense of it for end-users is a significant challenge.

The workshop will bring together researchers, professionals and experts to discuss, demonstrate and share best practices, ideas and results around the creation and consumption of structured data.For further information, please visit:
