'Workshop on smart objects resource management', Hamburg, Germany
The 'Workshop on smart objects resource management' will take place on 26 September 2012 in Hamburg, Germany.
The term 'smart objects' refers to everyday objects of all kinds and makes that are enhanced with computational intelligence. They may also have the capability to communicate with each other and with online services. These objects are essential elements of cyber-physical systems and can be found in such areas as logistics, smart buildings, intelligent transport, and smart city applications.
The event will look into the opportunities that smart objects create for infrastructure and infrastructure-less networks and how new services can be deployed and managed. Specific topics will include:
- energy-efficient, self-organized access and routing schemes for smart object systems;
- testbeds and experimental evaluation of services based on smart objects;
- service and application management platforms for a variety of applications;
- autonomic network monitoring and management for smart object networks;
- Future Internet architectures with smart objects.For further information, please visit: http://mon-ami.org/2012/show/cf-workshops
