The event entitled 'New developments in RNA Biology: state of the art and future perspectives Biology' will take place from 1 to 4 September 2012 in the Algarve, Portugal.

Now one of the most promising research areas of molecular biology, ribonucleic acid (RNA) is considered to play a decisive role in the expression of genetic information and the control of metabolism. It could very well be key to the understanding of many diseases as well as gene expression, translation, and ultimately evolution.

The aim of the workshop is to foster better exchange of information between experts concerned with different areas of RNA biology such as transcription, Ribosomal RNA/tRNA, RNA structure, RNA degradation and quality control, and, finally Small RNAs.For further information, please visit:
